ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY, MT. VERNON & ALEXANDRIA
On our tour of Arlington National Cemetery we will view the Tomb of the Unkown under constant vigil of a lone sentry, and witness the ceremonial changing of the Honor Guard. A stop will be made at the Kennedy Gravesites marked by the Eternal Flame. Then we proceed via scenic George Washington Parkway to Mt. Vernon, George Washington’s handsome estate on the Potomac. The buildings and grounds survive as one of the finest examples of an 8th Century plantation.
